Advocating for the Cabinet Manufacturing Industry
KCMA represents the industry in Washington D.C. on public policy issues, regulations, technical issues, and a variety of other subjects. We partner with other organizations, member company executives, and our legislative counsel to protect the interests of the cabinet industry.
KCMA lobbies on Capitol Hill and maintains contact with regulatory agencies, including the:
- Consumer Product Safety Commission
- Environmental Protection Agency
- Department of Commerce
- Federal Trade Commission
- International Trade Commission
KCMA helps to keep member companies informed through our eNewsletters, special member bulletins, and by hosting panels and inviting relevant speakers at our annual convention/conferences. Further, KCMA arranges periodic webinars and conference calls with our Board of Directors and Committee members to discuss high-priority issues.
KCMA members also have a voice in establishing our legislative and regulatory agenda. Some of the issues and policies in which KCMA is involved include:
