On November 3, 2025, the American Kitchen Cabinet Alliance (AKCA) submitted comments to the U.S. Trade Representative on the joint review of the agreement between the United States, the United Mexican States, and Canada (USMCA) and its implications to the kitchen cabinet industry.
Additionally, on December 4, 2025, Luke Meisner, partner at Schagrin Associates, testified at a public hearing relating to the operation of the USMCA. Speaking on behalf of AKCA, Mr. Meisner spoke on the need to strengthen the USMCA and prevent foreign producers from dodging US trade measures by sending materials to Canada or Mexico before the enter the U.S.
