CABINET SALES (AND PRODUCTION) ROSE IN JUNE
According to the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association’s (KCMA) monthly Trend of Business Survey, participating cabinet manufacturers reported an increase in overall cabinet sales of 21.3% for June 2022 compared to the same month in 2021.
June 2022 sales increases over June 2021:
- Overall sales up 21.3%
- Custom sales up 17.4%
- Semi-custom up 21.0%
- Stock sales up by 22.4%
- Estimated cabinet quantity increased 2.9%
Along with the strong YOY numbers, the month-to-month comparison was also bullish (June 2022 to May 2022):
- Overall sales up 7.3%
- Custom sales up 12.4%
- Semi-custom up 10.8%
- Stock sales up 4.1%
- Estimated cabinet quantity up 9.8%
Survey participants include stock, semi-custom and custom companies whose combined sales represent approximately 75% of the U.S. kitchen cabinet and bath vanity market. KCMA is the major trade association for kitchen cabinet and bath vanity manufacturers and key suppliers of goods and services to the industry. KCMA has been compiling and reporting industry sales data for more than forty years.
