Grand Rapids, MI (August 19, 2026) – Stiles Machinery, the leading source for manufacturing technology for the woodworking industry, is excited to bring its solutions to the International Woodworking Fair (IWF) 2026, August 25–28 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. The company will exhibit in Booths B4835 and B4853 in Exhibit Building B, as well as Booth A9840 in Building A, as part of IWF's first-ever Mass Timber and Prefabricated Construction Products Showcase.
Stiles will showcase more than 60 machines and technologies spanning its complete portfolio of solutions. Product experts, service technicians, and consultants will be available throughout the show to discuss specific applications and lead live machinery and integrated production cell demonstrations.
At the center of the exhibit is an automated robotic panel processing cell, making its full debut at this year's show. The cell features the HOMAG SAWTEQ S-300 flexTec saw/robot hybrid for material handling and panel dividing, the Automatech Robotik ORRA™ multi-pick management system for robotic nesting optimization, and—debuting at the show—the ORRA™ Velocity Sorting Solution, delivering intelligent parts sorting, storage, and kitting. The cell combines automated material storage and retrieval, CNC routing and machining, and edgebanding into a seamless workflow that transforms raw panels into machined, edged, and assembly-ready component stacks with minimal manual handling.
The complete automation cell will run live demonstrations throughout all four days of the show, along with other scheduled demonstrations of a solid wood line, finishing machinery, and more. Attendees interested in demonstrations can sign up for a demo or visit the demo check-in table at Booth B4835 during the show.
Two systems in the Stiles exhibit—the ORRA™ Velocity Sorting Solution and Venjakob's VEN AIR VORTEX—have been named finalists for the IWF 2026 Challengers Distinguished Achievement Award. These are two of only 20 finalists selected from 84 entries. Award winners will be announced at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 26. Both systems will be running live in the Stiles booth throughout all four days of the show.
In addition to the automation cell, Stiles will dedicate a section of the exhibit to its IRONWOOD line of classical ripsaws, planers, jointers, sanders, and sliding table saws, developed for small and growing shops. The section reflects the full range of the company's offering, extending from a shop's first standalone machine through complete robotic production, all backed by Stiles’ nationwide service, parts, and support network.
Stiles will also host the Stiles Parts-Picking Challenge at Booth B4835 throughout the show. Visitors can compete against the clock at a Hänel vertical lift, picking and packing a free gift as quickly as they can for a chance to win a Stiles-branded RTIC hard cooler.
Each morning of the show, Stiles and SCHULER Consulting will present the Executive Innovation Brief, a 20-minute session held at 9 a.m. at the Stiles Digital Hub, Booth B4835. The briefing will feature short presentations from guest experts on topics including robotics and automation, AI and digital tools, quality assurance, operations, and more. No registration is required.
“Manufacturers coming to IWF are looking for a partner to help them solve challenges that are holding them back from growing, from taking that next step,” said Barry Kellar, President and CEO of Stiles Machinery and HOMAG Americas. “With the current landscape, our message this year is to keep it simple: Start where you are, invest in what moves the needle, and know what technology will get you the most return on investment not just today, but years from now. That is as true for the three-person shop starting out as it is for an industrial plant running multiple shifts, and we’ll have solutions for both ends of that spectrum and everywhere in between on the floor at IWF.”
