Community College located in McDowell County. Universal Advanced Manufacturing Center
adjacent to the main campus, was formerly part of Universal Furniture Building. Provides
classes and customized business training, conference rooms/classrooms, tours or meetings
for MTCC's economic development partners.
Started 2012, HCPS and Henderson County Partnership for Economic Development, program for career-building and workforce development training for local middle and high school students. Apprenticeship Program: "Made in Henderson County" (Manufacturing) offered through six area manufacturing
companies. Industry Training & Universal Advanced Manufacturing Center.
Offers certificates and diplomas: Mechatronics, Computer Integrated Machining.
