High School located in Forsyth County. CTE Internship - paid or unpaid, jointly planned by the
teacher, student and business community. Exploratory, allows students to get hands-on
experience. Construction Academy and the Carpentry Program at the Career Center: Hands-on
instruction begins in the 9th & 10th grades with exploration of 18 different construction industry
skilled trades in the construction industry. The programs collaborate to build a Habitat for
Humanity house on campus. The Masonry Program (NCCER credentialed), includes OSHA
10-hour certification, provides opportunities for pre-apprenticeships, internships, and
job-shadowing as early as 9th grade.
