The Carpentry/Cabinetmaking Program is based upon the National Center for Construction, Education, and Research (NCCER) curriculum. The program is designed to provide the skills, knowledge and quality workmanship necessary to become a successful carpenter or cabinetmaker. Students gain hands-on experience in drafting blueprints, designing cabinetry products, framing, roofing and interior/exterior finishing. Students apply those skills to construct project homes on the Beloit and Hays campuses. Upon successful completion of the one-year program, students receive a Carpentry/Cabinetmaking Certificate.
