OSHA's Emergency Response Plan
Hosted by the Government and Regulatory Affairs Committee
OSHA has proposed a rule that would modernize the existing Fire Brigade standard, seeking to expand it to cover all fire and rescue operations. This revised rule would include workplace emergency response teams. The proposed rule covers who would be responsible for emergency response operations; personal protective equipment requirements; and minimum worker requirements (including fitness requirements) for responders. In summary, if an employer has an emergency response team, this proposed rule could significantly impact those programs. In this meeting, we will cover the critical proposals in this rule – and how they affect members of the cabinet manufacturing industry.
