KCMA Signs on to Support No Industrial Restrictions In Secret (NO IRIS) Act of 2024

Published on September 9, 2024

On September 9, a coalition letter supporting the “No Industrial Restrictions In Secret (NO IRIS) Act of 2024” (S. 3724/H.R. 7284), sponsored by Senator Kennedy and Congressman Grothman was submitted. Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association (KCMA) signed on to this coaltion and lends the support of our cabinet and supplier manufacturers to this important issue.

Congressman Glenn Grothman (R-WI) and Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) introduced the No IRIS Act to reduce undue red tape imposed by the Biden Administration through the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Integrated Risk Information System (IRIS). The No IRIS Act is in the interest of protecting American safety, jobs, and ensuring chemical risk assessments conducted by EPA are driven by the best available science, rather than by political and ideological agendas.
